Perspective project

Perspective Drawing
Looking at my artwork I think it turned out very well. I analyzed it as I worked. When i worked on getting the lines to be in perspective i would try to imagine how the final product would turn out. I did have the rough draft of it as i copied it onto the bigger paper but my sketchbook is way smaller than the size of the paper I chose for the final so I had to use proportion in getting the buildings to fit on the bigger paper. I did manage to get them all on there exactly how I wanted. I am very content in how it all came out. Although I did have a bit of an obstacle towards the end as I was in the middle of coloring. I was gonna have a full road in the artwork but as I was almost done filling in the black part of the road since I had the paper pinned up on the wall so I could have a large flat surface, I accidentally ripped one side of the paper so I had to figure out how I would continue without having to completely start over. Eventually, I decided to cut of half of the road on both sides. I'm not sure if I mind that much since it really doesn't look like it would make a difference since the buildings are supposed to be the main attraction. At the beginning when we first started perspective I had a bit of trouble with the two point perspective. I still had trouble after the teacher explained the concept to me so luckily my classmate saw this and was nice enough to help me. After showing me a few sketches using this technique I tried it on my own and soon got the hang of it.
